JED2ZDD software automatically converts ACUGEN® Software's ATGEN® vector files (.JWV files) into Teradyne Z800 Data Director Code. This product, when used in conjunction with ATGEN software, provides a complete solution for in-circuit testing of PLDs on Teradyne Z800 board testers.
Creates Data Director (.DD) Code
Teradyne Z800 testers use Data Director Code (Stimulus & Expect States) to test the PLD during in-circuit testing.
The user must apply a Teradyne Z800 Pin Map (.ZPM) file for each PLD run. The .ZPM file allows the user to tell the software which pins are "control" pins and which are data pins.
The disables information for each PLD is to be supplied by the user as part of the board test program.
The software has three options. The first allows the inclusion of the JEDEC vectors as comments; the second allows the user to select between the DOHALT and FIG measure state wants. The third option allows the user to include the .DD file in "TEMPLATE" format as part of a library or create the .DD file in the "program" format which will work directly on the tester.
Files Compile and Run Without Debug
Vectors produced by ATGEN software contain no races or backdriving problems.
Easy to Use
The translator is invoked by typing "JED2ZDD", followed by the name of the .JWV file, at the operating system prompt.
